My Story

Before I understood trauma through theory or training, I knew it through my body. Early experiences of loss, displacement, and chronic stress shaped my nervous system long before I had tools to meet them.

This lived knowing is the foundation of my work today, alongside years of study, practice, and community-based experience

This work is informed by the places I come from, the communities I’ve worked alongside, and the realities my body has lived through.

Growing up in Colombia and later building a life in New York shaped my understanding of care, resilience, and what it means to heal in context. These experiences continue to guide how I listen, how I show up, and how I accompany others.

Offerings

My personal mindfulness and somatic practice is woven into my everyday life and work. I always try to approach these practices with flexibility, curiosity, and a sense of flow. To me, it is not about bypassing challenging realities, but about bringing awareness and compassion to our experience in our own bodies and in the world at large. I believe in the importance of bringing a sense of humor, playfulness, and wonder into these spaces.

I’ve learned that it is important to know when to laugh and when to set healthy boundaries to create a structured yet caring environment.

Individual & Collective
Support

I collaborate with individuals, groups, and organizations, sharing the experience and tools I've learned along my journey. Every process is crafted with care and becomes a gentle co-creation, honoring the unique needs and context of each person or group.

Trauma Care Mindfulness & Body Based Practices

In every session, I incorporate mindfulness and body-based (somatic) practices to help individuals discover simple moments to re-ground and pause through gentle, body-centered practices that nurture their nervous systems and promote restoration.

My approach is rooted in trauma conscious care and cultural humility.

Some of the practices include:

  • Meditation
